LAS VEGAS: Unseeded American Sam Querrey captured his first career ATP title on Sunday, beating South African qualifier Kevin Anderson in three sets to win this US$500,000 hardcourt tournament.

Fourth-seeded Argentine Guillermo Canas, the only seed left at the $436,000 Tennis Channel Open, advanced to the semifinals with a 6-4, 6-4 victory over American qualifier Amer Delic on Friday.
